License

Each server needs its own license. The license status is always visible at the top right of the plugin: License valid until …, Trial until … or License not valid.

Activating​

When the server has no valid license, the plugin opens on the activation page and asks for the server's license code. Enter it and click Activate. If this server has not had a trial yet, you can Start 7-day trial instead and try every feature for free.

Changing the code​

To replace the license of a server that already has one — for example after renewing with a new code — go to Settings → License. The section shows the status, the holder, the expiration date and the current code. Type the new code and click Change code.

When the license is not valid​

When the license expires or stops being valid, the protection is paused:

  • The real-time scanner stops.
  • The scheduled scans are skipped.

The alert email receives a message when this happens, when the service starts without a valid license, and again every 3 days until it is fixed. The plugin opens on the activation page until a valid code is entered. Files already in quarantine stay there.

As soon as a valid license is entered, the real-time scanner starts again and the next scheduled scan runs as usual.
